Birthday Party

We had a family birthday party at Grandma and Grandpa Stathis' house. We Face Timed my parents, Emily, David, and Liz. Lisa made cupcakes, and Grandma made lunch.

Sarah got lots of stuff for her babies: a crib, a high-chair, and a diaper bag! She loved it all.

Happy Birthday Sarah!

Sarah turned two, and she is still so sweet. She absolutely adores baby dolls, and when she sees a real baby she squeals in delight and clenches her fists together like she just can't contain herself to see such cuteness.

She is a really good sleeping. She still takes a nap and 12 hours at night. She loves books and always asks to take one with her to bed. She'll read it out loud and sing and talk sometimes for almost two hours before she falls asleep during the day. She doesn't seem to mind the alone time.

Sarah loves Leah, and she tries to do everything like her. Sometimes when she is sad she will go to Leah for comfort instead of me.

She loves my green smoothies, and she will usually drink hers and half of Leah's and some of David's.

She rarely gets mad, but when she does, watch out.

When she runs she twists her torso almost as quickly as she moves her legs. You can tell she is working as hard as she can to keep up with the older kids.

She likes to watch DorDa (Dora) and Caillou.

She dresses herself every morning and picks her own clothes out. If given the choice, she would wear pajamas all day. Unlike Leah she always goes for comfort over fashion. She also doesn't like wearing a jacket or sweater. She'll say, "No, Mommy. I oh tae"

We are glad Sarah is part of our family, and we couldn't imagine life without her.

More pics from Flagstaff

My sister-in-law Kathryn captured so many great pictures from the trip. We are so glad she captures all the memories.

You can see them on her blog: family fun, park family time, family Olympics, craft time, craft time II, lava lampsdance off, and Cardinals practice.

Leah loved Aunt Kathryn's crafts! All the kids had fun playing together all day.  The adults enjoyed catching up, playing games, and watching the Olympics.
