Easter

We spent the Saturday before Easter with David's parents.  The girls loved the Easter egg hunt, and I just love the look on their faces as they race to get them. 

It was just the two of them so there were plenty to go around. 

If they found an egg that the other person liked (Sarah's favorite colors are blue and yellow and Leah likes pink and purple) they would give the egg to that person. 

 

SNOW!

Spring brought snow into DC (twice) at the beginning (3/6) and end of the month (3/25). 

The girls finally got to make a snowman and snow angel and sled a little bit. It's been a really weird year for weather... 

Big girl bed

We wanted to move Sarah into a big girl bed in Leah's room a couple of months before the new baby comes so she would have time to adjust. 

On a whim, we thought we could buy a toddler bed from the store, which we found out isn't really possible. 

It worked out for the best, because she earned her bed by keeping her panties dry!

I guess all she needed was the right motivation. 

She transitioned super easy to the bed and has only had a few accidents. She just LOVES being a big girl. 

When we set up her bed, she yelled,"I LOVE IT!" multiple times. So cute. 

Auntie Em!

When Auntie Em comes to stay it's time to PLAY!! 

My sister Emily came to stay with us during her Spring break, and we loved having her here. 

We took the girls all over the place like to shop at Dulles Town Center and to the National Children's Museum. In between outings, she did all sorts of crafts with the girls. They made necklaces, bedazzled flip flops, and made T-shirts.
