October Highlights

October was fun a month. 

bumbos, costumes, outings, vacations, birthdays, and nice weather. 

Halloween Festivities

Renaissance Festival

We had a blast. Some highlights: sword swallowing, performances, a live joust, yummy food, and lots of costumes. 

David and I went 7 years ago, before it become so popular. There were tons and tons more people there than when we first went. It was still fun. 

Virginia Beach Getaway

My parents are in China teaching English so they weren't able to use their time share this year. 

We jumped at the opportunity, beating out my siblings, and we are so glad we did. Since I blog about things that happened four months ago, I can tell you it was a memorable trip for the girls. I overhear them pretending they are going to Virginia Beach! 

It was cold and windy, but still a lot of fun. Our hotel was right on the beach so we could go out for an hour and then walk right back to the hotel for a break. 

Ticonderoga Farms

Leah's preschool took a field trip to Ticonderoga Farms. It was so fun.
