July Highlights

David and Liz came to visit along with my parents. They took the girls to the air and space museum, miniature golfing, swimming, and to the library.

My Mom and I were able to get out and shop a bit, and my Dad would take the girls on walks to 7 eleven. They would come home with almost melted Slurpees and huge smiles.

The rest of the month was spent forcing Anna to take pictures with her sisters.

Taking care of Sophie who had two teeth pulled. See her shaved leg where they hooked up the IV for anesthesia. She looks really grey in this picture.

Hide and go seek with Anna. Sarah, "Mom, can you find Anna?"

Craiglist playhouse find that provided hours of entertainment for the girls.

Obsess over every move Anna made and talk to her and kiss her incessantly.

Anna's Blessing

Anna's blessing day was just perfect.

It worked out nicely to have a lot of family attend. Of course, we missed those who couldn't make it, because we just live too far from each other.

David gave a really beautiful blessing. He loves all his girls, and it's so nice to hear that love in the blessing.

All of us.

Here comes the family!

One of the best things about having a new baby, is having family come and help ;)

My parents, brother David and his wife, Liz came to spend some time with us over the 4th of July, and my sister Emily will be coming in August

The day they arrived, the girls broke out the blow up pool. It was one of the only days when it didn't rain.

My Dad and Uncle Dave tried to avoid the sun and heat while they supervised.

The girls are slightly obsessed with Uncle Dave. They literally don't leave his side when he is around, and he and Liz were so sweet to play with them and take them places. They LOVED it.

Dave and Liz also make really yummy chocolate chip cookies.

They took the girls miniature golfing

My parents also loved seeing the girls and helping out with Anna.

Sophie also likes to get in on the cuddling action.

When it wasn't raining, we joined Jenn and her family at the pool. Thank goodness she always invites us to come, because it's a great way to beat the heat!
