Stathis Reunion - Flagstaff, AZ

David's parents rented this gorgeous mansion in Flagstaff.

It was the perfect place for everyone to enjoy some rest and relaxation and the Olympics!

The house

There were two family areas, and the kids claimed the playroom. One night, the adults were in there with them, and my niece said, "Why are you guys still here? Aren't you supposed to be watching the Olympics downstairs?"

The cousins played all day and had such a good time together.

We are grateful to Grandma and Grandpa Stathis for making it possible.

Grandma, Sarah, and Max. She wanted to hold him ;)

We are looking forward to the next one!

Arizona Cousins

We loved spending time with our Arizona cousins.

For some reason, I didn't take any pictures at Melanie's house, probably because we never saw the girls. They ran off and played all day with the other kids.

Here are a few pictures from Jenny's house in Tuscan.

Arizona Bound

After David and Liz's wedding, we headed to Arizona to spend a week and half with David's family.

The flight was only an hour. It was awesome.

I couldn't remember the last time we took such a short flight.

When we landed, it was like 100 degrees outside, and Leah still wanted to wear her jacket and hood.

Playhouse

When we were little, my Dad built us the playhouse.

Over time it started to age, and a few years ago the floor was rotted out and it was full of all my Dad's supplies for yard work.

My Dad decided it was time to fix it up, and he made it better than it was when we were young!

Tire swing by the sandbox and playhouse.

See the playhouse in the background.

He put dry wall on the walls, painted it, put in carpet, and refinished our kitchen toys.

Warner Family Reunion

We arrived in Utah just in time for the Warner Family Reunion.

My Mom's cousins and my Grandma's sisters and families get together every couple of years. We were excited it worked out for us to go this year and that it was in Farmington.

It was fun.

Utah Bound

We spent all of July on vacation with family. It was AWESOME!

We spent the first part in Utah for my brother's wedding, and then we went to Arizona to be with David's family for a week-long reunion in a mansion.

Utah summers are divine. They are warm and at the same time cool. For us, it was complete bliss.

Girls trying on their wedding dresses.

The flight out was surprisingly easy.

On the flight to Utah, when we took off Leah yelled excitedly as she looked out the window, "Mommy! Utah has a LOT of a trees." About three and a half hours into the flight she says, "Utah is really, REALLY far away!" She quickly learned that the long travel time is always worth it. We loved being with family and we had nonstop fun all month.
