Recent Developments

It's been two weeks since Leah gave up the bottle and binkie. We took them both away the same weekend, and she hasn't really missed either.

She's been walking while she is holding someones hand for awhile now. If she is being stabilized on both sides, she runs.

Today she started taking unsolicited multiple steps on her own several times during the day. She was also wearing pink polka-dot shorts, which made it that much cuter to watch.

Smoothies

I've always been a fan of smoothies. I can drink one everyday. Lucky for me, Leah also enjoys them. In the morning, she will open the cupboard and point excitedly at the blender while both saying and signing "more" "more."

She helps me get the ingredients out of the fridge, and then she nervously touches the blender lid when I turn it on.


This is pretty much what she looks like until we take the last sip.

Doctor's Office

I've been meaning to post these remaining UT pictures for weeks...

We went to the doctor's office a few times with my Dad.


It was fun to see Emily, who looks very official in scrubs.


She had all sorts of fun things in her office.


Leah loved walking and swinging back to the car.

Typical Day at Grandma & Grandpa's

It begins with a new "do" from Grandma complete with a bow or two.

...and of course there is Sophie who entertains her for hours. Leah now hits the couch, bed, or her leg so Sophie will jump up to sit by her.

What We've Been Up To

What we've been up to for the last few days...

Playing the piano


Playing with Sophie all day long.

As soon as she wakes up, she is frantically searching for the "doggie"


Leah will follow her around, play catch, and share her treats. Leah squeals with delight whenever Sophie takes some food out of her hand.


She also likes to pet Sophie with her feet. It must tickle her toes.

Waiting for Spring

We picked these up in Park City yesterday.

We are enjoying time with family in Utah this week.

New Car Seat

Leah is loving her new carseat. Her first ride in it went like this:
