Utah in Cell Phone Pictures
We took a last minute trip to Utah to attend my Grandma Sides' funeral. It was nice to be with family and to celebrate her. It's hard to say goodbye. She has been such a huge part of my life. I'm grateful Leah and Sarah were able to meet her. She loved them so much.
Here are a few of pictures from my phone of the other things we did. More to come later.
Leah and I took a trip to the laundromat. She loved everything about it. The big machines, the quarters, the vending machine.

Beavers
I had no idea there was a beaver farm in Kaysville.
When Leah talks about it she is mainly concerned that they don't get her fingers. I don't blame her.

Second Trip
Her second trip to Utah was just as easy as the first. She didn't have any problems adjusting to the new time zone and was a really happy baby the entire trip.

Emily's Easter Egg Hunt
Anyone who knows Emily knows she can throw a party!
Naturally, we were so happy when she suggested having an early Easter egg hunt so we could be there. She stuffed almost 200 plastic eggs with the really good Easter candy and hid them all over my parents yard.
Leah LOVED it. She couldn't eat dinner, because she was too busy looking for the eggs from the backdoor window.
Once we started, she caught on immediately. She would shake each egg before putting it in her basket to make sure she didn't pick up any empty ones by mistake.
When we emptied out the candy, she tossed aside the chocolate (snickers, rolos, kit kats) because they didn't match the jelly bean and chocolate eggs.
