About 10 days after the sprain diagnosis at the ER, David's ankle just wasn't feeling better and the orthopedic told him it was actually a break.
After another 10 days staying home with his leg elevated three pillows high so it would be above his heart, David can go back to work on March 12.
He's getting really good at hopping around on one leg and using his crutches.
Since he's been hurt, Leah has also had some hurt ankles that have required her to skip and jump around the house or stay up a little later at night. Her one-legged hop is adorable.
We are hoping it continues to heal quickly, and he'll get the cast off on March 23.
We are really grateful for his parents that have driven him around when he has needed to get to the doctor or work. It's been wonderful to have their help.
