Sunday Picture

Because I wasn't able to get a good picture of the girls together on Easter, I thought I would try it again the following Sunday.

At least this time they are sitting next to each other.

Next time we will work on looking at the camera and keeping their feet on the ground.

Library

We try to go to our local library often. There are puzzles, and the girls like to pick out their own books.

Occasionally we make it to some of the bigger libraries in the area, and we are always enjoy checking out the kids section. The library in Alexandria has lots of toys, big blocks, and puppets.

The Movies

We were invited to a family-friendly movie, and we thought it would be fun.

We hadn't planned on taking Sarah, but we were glad we did.

She did fine, especially considering the movie wasn't animated, and it was two hours.

Once she finished her own popcorn and drink (which she kept in the holder when she was done taking her sips), she got a little bored.

We watched the second half standing in the back, so she could walk in and out of the open door to the lobby.

Don't ask how many cartons of popcorn we went through that early in the morning. It's rather shocking!

Farewell

We knew it wasn't going to be forever.

What we didn't know is how quickly the time would go by and how natural the living arrangement would become.

My parents were really great missionaries, and they are excellent grandparents.

We loved being able to see them as grandparents every day.

They would take the girls on walks to hunt for treasures, to the grocery store, and to the park. Or they would just let the girls play nearby as they studied their scriptures in the morning.

We miss them, of course, and we are also grateful for the time we  were able to spend together.

We met up at McDonalds after their last transfer meeting.

Easter

She picked up on the idea really quickly.

Leah was a pro and helped Sarah find some too.

Sarah loved the pure chocolate eggs best and would dig through the plastic candy filled ones until she found one.

We loved being able to celebrate with both of our parents. David sported the crutch for most of February and March.

Despite several attempts, this was the best Easter dress picture I could get. They are still super cute.
